I can't believe it's come full circle back to this. This whole thing people have in their heads about multi-plats looking better on 360 just isn't true. There ARE cross-platform games that look better on 360, but what people just ignore, is the fact that there is a LONG list of multi-plats that look better on PS3 and they date back to even BEFORE the PS3 hardware itself went onsale. That example would be Marvel UA1 which went on sale for PS3 a week before PS3 went on sale in Ameri...
This is news to me. Interesting development.....is this like confirmed news?
Cross platform play with PC gamers would be awesome of Valve, even if they have to release another version on PC for PC gamers to partake against PS3 players. Like someone else said.........just to settle some old arguments.
But just so you PC guys know, all the "CoD noobs" (at least most of them) on consoles are going to stick with CoD MW3 or some switch to BF3. It's a...
I like Dragon Age 2 as a game. I think it's fine. But Origins was like a perfect 10/10 for me. Compared to that DA2 is like an 8.
But the stuff I miss that was taken out of Origins isn't stuff that was "broken", and even if it is SLIGHTLY broken....WHO CARES?! IMO the only thing "Broken" in Origins was how incredibly over-powered Arcane Warriors could be. BUT IT'S A SINGLE PLAYER GAME!! If I was to play as a friggin GOD, I should be able to. T...
I think you guys are getting ahead of yourselves here. I think saying they aren't reactionary is just false. I kinda like their reaction to both the player and physics (like the environment and bullets hitting them), it seems quick and almost similar to how a zombie would/should react.
Do the enemies shown so far seem fairly dumb in that they usually just rush you down head on to be mowed down like so much cannon fodder? Yes, kinda. BUT the name of the game is "RAGE&...
I DO think Ultimate MvC3 is a good idea. In fact I think it's a great idea. What's NOT a great idea however, is ONCE AGAIN not putting in the characters people actually WANT and have demanded, when you have such a perfect chance to do so. (of course this is ASSuming on my part that the leaked full roster is true, in fact I even suspect it's not completely accurate, a ruse on Capcom's part perhaps.)
I actually live in Rhode Island, and while I didn't know we actually had THE fastest internet in the country, I figured we had to be pretty high up. Pretty much all the lines have been changed over to fiber-optic, so our cable providers have all been able to switch over to a full fiber optic service (meaning right from their hub to your cable box/modem, all fiber optic, no coax at all). This makes the biggest speed difference I would think.
Not to mention Rhode Island as ...
I had MvC3 pre-ordered and paid off. But the day before it came out, when I saw one of the first reviews and it showed the character select screen, I screwed to the store and concelled my pre-order. Seeing how sparse that character select screen is with characters I want to play as, immediately made me not want the game as a Marvel fanboy.
I also don't like Street Fighter so much, didn't buy 4, but when SuperSF4 came out with 10 extra characters and more features for ...
I think this is more something Capcom should listen to, not so much Activision. Activisions problem isn't DLC, because at least they are putting out new content that wasn't ready to be put in the game pre-release and they just held it back for paid DLC, which is what Capcom does.
Activision's problem is just releasing the same exact game over and over every year with no real improvements. In fact they seem to get worse if anything with ever more shoddy testing/bug...
Spot on Abriael. At least for the first part anyway. I know tons of people just wrote off FF14 just based on the beta. But that's what Beta's are for. The only problem is: there were SO many things wrong with the game, and creating all the code and intergrating it into a MMO takes ALOT of time, and they didn't just delay the PC version along with the PS3 version. By the time that PS3 version launches, maybe even the same day FF14 is going to get a GIGANTIC update that's going ...
you're sure there are no trophies? that was my deciding factor on buying this.
What is it "ruining"? Buy new to support game developers and it doesn't affect you at all. And that doesn't mean you have to buy it at $60. Just wait for a price drop or a discount somewhere. As long as it's new, you aren't affected.
You don't know that it won't work with multiple IDs anyway. With Mortal Kombat's kombat pass, it works with my sub-accounts. As long as the pass is on the PS3, it works for all accounts. At least the ones from the same region. I havn't tried playing online in other regions.
I've HEARD with some games the online passes don't work with other accounts. But I've only heard it, not seen for myself. PLUS I HEARD that on the internet and often what I hear...
Personally, I think he's wrong. I just think devs have to go about it the right way for consoles, specifically in the subscription department.
Control wise, there's no issue at all contrary to what so many people seem to think. I think it actually works better moving your toon around with an analog stick, and as for skills, you do it the same way ARPGs have been doing it on consoles for years X (on playstation) for basic attacks, and the other three face buttons for s...
Shouldn't this be called the "Heavy Rain" effect? In my opinion it should.
I played Oblivion to death. So I don't really NEED this. BUT, if the PS3 version actually has trophy support this time, I may order this.
LOL
Funny logic you've got there Toasty. Considering the only halfway decent 3DS games are downgraded ports of console games.
Well Ad-Hoc party pretty much gives you all the basic features you'd need. Including voice chat, which alone is big considering Monster Hunter on PS2, while my favorite online game of all time, had the MAJOR flaw of no voice chat....only text.
Just being able to hunt online again, with a dual shock controller is enough to put a smile on my face. Is it the ideal circumstances? No. But it still makes me happy as a true Monster Hunter fan going back to the original.
Yes. YES. YES!!!!!!
This is all I care about. Since 2006 all I've wanted is to be able to play Monster Hunter, online, on my PS3. Well.....I should say....since midnight December 31st 2007, when the PS2 Monster Hunter servers were shut down, because I was playing Monster Hunter online on my PS3 up until that time. I shed a few tears at 12:01 when the servers shut down. I completely skipped new years eve that year to play Monster Hunter online that whole last day of the se...
Personally this is some of the best news I've heard in a long, long time. Especially as a Monster Hunter fan. This BETTER come to the U.S.
Granted, I would obviously prefer a true PS3 Monster Hunter. But the fact is Capcom have pretty much become sellouts, especially with the Monster Hunter series. For some reason they refuse to make a true PS3 Monster Hunter. But as a Monster Hunter fan, graphics aren't all that important to me. It's the hunt I love, and creating...
They (Capcom) answered their own question.....twice basically. Japan and "the west" are two totally different markets, especially for Monster Hunter.
In Japan they want all MH, all the time. Both portable and on a console, so Capcom's right in wanting a save that would work on both versions.
In "the west", Monster Hunter fans want MH on PS3 (with proper right analog stick attacking back). So do a ground up rebuild for PS3. We don't...
